Wednesdays Together, our midweek inter-generational night of fellowship and spiritual engagement begins 2020 with a five-week series looking at ways justice is pursued in our community. Each week we will welcome a guest from an agency or program in the Jackson area who will share what their work is doing to build a more just and equitable community.
Tonight we visit with Susan Glisson, former Executive Director of the William Winter Institute for Race and Reconciliation.
The 7:00 p.m. program is preceded by a catered dinner. Meal reservations are not necessary but are appreciated as they help us be good stewards in our ordering of food. A link to make reservations can be found here. [Reservations are now closed.]
Upcoming guests:
January 22: Lida Gibson of the Asylum Hill Project
January 29: Ricky Cole, 2019 Democratic Candidate for Mississippi Agriculture Commissioner
February 5: Monique Davis, director of the Center for Art and Public Exchange at the Mississippi Museum of Art
