Congregational Life

Congregational Life at Fondren Presbyterian includes programs of fellowship, service, and commitment. Here are some opportunities Fondren Pres offers:

August through May each year, we gather in the Fellowship Hall at 5:45 PM for a delicious potluck meal and prayers of the people. Programs vary, from Bible studies to art workshops to topics of community interest. Childcare is provided.

On the second Sunday of the month, September through May, we gather for lunch immediately following the 11:00 AM service. No reservations are required, the cost is minimal, and the lunch is the best in town! There's no program—only a time of hospitality, good food, and fellowship. Guests are always welcome!

Dinners For Eight are multigenerational groups that gather quarterly in people’s homes or in restaurants to enjoy a meal and get to know each other.

The Square Circle, a fellowship group open to both women and men, meets at 6 PM quarterly in homes for a meal and fellowship.

Pastoral Care

The Pastoral Care team monitors the needs of Fondren Presbyterian members who are ill or otherwise in need. This group attempts to meet communication needs (telephone calls, notes, and visitation); organized care needs such as food and transportation; and other ongoing support as necessary.
