Special Opportunities to Give

One Great Hour of Sharing

During Lent, we celebrate that God connects with us through Jesus' resurrection and connects us with "those who have least" — and that's what One Great Hour of sharing (OGHS) is all about. Each gift to One Great Hour of Sharing helps improve the lives of the suffering and the vulnerable through three life-saving programs:

  • Presbyterian Disaster Assistance

  • Presbyterian Hunger Program

  • Self-development of People

During this Lenten season, join with Presbyterians worldwide in sharing God's love with neighbors in need around the world. Click here more information about the One Great Hour of Sharing Special Offering.

Your gift to OGHS may be mailed to the church office or placed in the offering plate on Sunday mornings.

Mail to:
Fondren Presbyterian Church
Attn: Christel Howell
3220 Old Canton Rd.
Jackson, MS 39216

Note: Please make your check payable to Fondren Presbyterian Church and write "OGHS" in the memo line of your check.

Easter Flowers

To celebrate the glory of Easter, the church will purchase blooming plants to place in the sanctuary and around the church building. We invite you to donate toward the purchase of these plants in honor or in memory of a loved one or friend. A list of contributors and those remembered will be published on Easter Sunday. All donations received beyond the cost of the Easter flowers will be sent to Presbyterian Disaster Assistance to support their relief efforts in Ukraine.
