Once a month, Fondren's young people gather for supper and a special program or outing, such as a trip to the state fair or a Mississippi Braves game. Several of the youth attended the Montreat Junior High Conference in the summer of 2007. Fondren's youth grow up in the tradition of service, often assisting as ushers in worship, helping with the younger children at Bible school, assisting their parents with delivery of Meals on Wheels, and preparing food and serving at Stewpot.
